An introduction
After reopening this site, I took it for granted that the people reading it knew enough about me to put any of my inane ramblings into context.
That's probably still true.
Just the same, though, I should probably fill in the blanks.
So, my name is Mikey, as you've probably guessed. My last name isn't important - though it should be easy enough for any interested party to discover. I recently moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Seattle, Washington. I grew up in Madison, but moved out here for work. I have no family out here, and a handful of friends, so I'm in the constant state of trying to get out more.
This blog is about me - personally. I have another blog that covers the professional aspect of my life, but I'm not going to link to it. I'm trying to maintain a thin veil of anonymity because I don't want to feel like I need to censor myself.
I'm sure that some people will be smart enough to do the math and put the required pieces together to find out who I am and what I do. That's fine. All I ask is that you understand that I want to keep my personal and professional lives separate, and that you respect the separation I've created.
So that's me.
