I went to a "hat party" thrown by SpaceCityMixers.com last night with my office-mate, Navin.

I've tried a few different social clubs here in Seattle, and so far... well. The one last night was the best of the bunch, but I still wouldn't call it a success. It was, however, nice to get out.

So - I had quite a bit to drink there, which made it easier to talk to the ladies. I made the choice, however, to drive home after the party was done - stupid, stupid, stupid. It's one thing to drive after drinking in Madison, Wisconsin. Hell - chances are that everyone else on the road is slightly more intoxicated than you are.

It's another to do it here. Driving is totally different out here. I'm not going to do that again. I don't need the danger, and I don't need the legal consequences.

I also drunk-dialed my ex who lives in Portland while I was driving. She was very nice - she called me later to make sure I had gotten to my destination intact. At least I didn't say anything stupid... I don't think.

You see what happens when you leave Wisconsin, you lose the ability to Drink. How are you ever going to keep up when you come back to visit us.
